Using Facebook you can create a personal profile that allows you to friend other Facebookers, to upload and share photos, video, and other information, to see your friends’ status updates, and to leave comments on their activities. Privacy setting in your Facebook account allow you to define who will be able to see your information, and the account is free.
Facebook also allows the creation of Fan Pages – an account for a business, a nonprofit organization, or an artist or musician. These pages are also free and can be viewable by anyone on the web. A Fan Page also allows you to upload photos and video, publish links to other website, link to a blog, and to host discussions.
If you already have a Facebook Fan Page or personal profile, you can make a Profile or Fanbox badge using Facebook widgets for posting on your website or blog.
