Creative presentations by creative people. PechaKucha’s 20×20 format means, 20 images per person, 20 seconds per image. So in a quick 6 minutes, forty seconds, you’ll get a fun sampling of eight completely different personalities to inspire and entertain you.
Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, PechaKucha Night rests on a simple and concise presentation format that keeps ideas moving at a rapid pace. Despite the stuffy “presentation” moniker, PechaKucha’s atmosphere is casual and lax. The idea is to come away from the event with a greater perspective and richer ideas, but most importantly, to enjoy oneself in the process.
Feel free to invite your friends, co-workers, peers, blog, followers, and more. Everyone is invited to attend this free community event at the Creamery Arts Center, 411 N. Sherman Parkway on Saturday, May 12 from 7 to 10 p.m.
