A Sky Gallery public reception was held at in the Springfield-Branson National Airport terminal lobby on February 9 to honor the Springfield Regional Arts Council artist members and MSU Department of Art and Design student artists.
To celebrate Black History Month, the MSU Department of Art and Design created an exhibition of Portraits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that will be on display at the Springfield-Branson National Airport through the month of February. The SRAC artists were selected from the online SRAC artists registry for a mixed media show that will be on display until March 12, 2012.
The event also featured musical and spoken word performances by the Washington Ave. Church Choir and food by Famous Dave’s BBQ.
