Looking forward to the new year, it’s also fun to look back. Jonthan Gano, Assistant Director of Springfield Public Works, has given a creative window to the past by hanging an exhibition of historical Park Central Square photos in the darkened windows of the former Mr. Fuuurniture, just next to Coffee Ethic.
As a compliment to the current renovation of the square, the photos show different moments in the life of the area — from horse and buggies, to stage coaches, to a ranch-style house surrounded by cable car tracks.
