Update:  Due to the inclement weather, the SRAC has decided to postpone the bidding deadline for Hearts for the Arts. All bids, online or in person, must be submitted by Monday, February 14th at Noon.

Artwork can be picked up on Monday, Feb. 14 from Noon- 5 p.m. just in time for Valentine’s Day or subsequent business weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Bid now on your favorite valentine art! It’s the final week for the 3rd annual “Hearts for the Arts” fundraising exhibition and silent auction of 11″ x 14″ heart-themed works donated from regional artists. Silent bidding in online at www.SpringfieldArts.org/Auction or you can also bid in person at the Creamery Arts Center.

Regional artist have donated 78 pieces of original art for the auction, and they are on display in the Creamery Exhibition Hall. All proceeds from “Hearts for the Arts” will benefit the Arts Council’s arts education programming that supports local teaching artists and arts organizations reaching over 30,000 children annually in the 27-county region the Arts Council serves. Programs include Arts in the Park Summer Workshops with the Springfield Community Center, Artist-In-Residence, the Greater Ozarks Art Tour (G.O.A.T.), Mini Monet Mondays for at-risk preschool age children, Arts Education Scholarships and Partners in Education.
