Update: We have filled the program for November 3. If you are interested in presenting, please attend #8 and tell us what you’re like to present for #9.
We have three six great presenters confirmed for PechaKucha Night Vol.8 on November 3rd and looking for just a couple more. If you have images and something you’d like to share with Springfield, reply now so we can list you on the poster.
Don’t know what PechaKucha is all about? It’s the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat.” It’s a chance for creatives to get together in a casual setting, network, share ideas and their work. It’s also a global trend — just check out the world clock on the PechaKucha International website.
The 20×20 format means each presenter shows 20 images, speaking briefly about each image for 20 seconds. With 6:40 minutes for each of 7-8 presentations, by the end of the evening, you’ll be exposed to a broad range of current topics. Past presentations have been made by artists, architects, designers, teachers, film-makers, writers, farmers….Topics range from what’s happening on the Greenways Trails to iPhonography.
Doors will open Saturday, November 3 at 6 pm at RuBert Studios for PechaKucha Night Vol. 8. Presentations start at 6:30 pm. Feel free to invite your friends, co-workers, peers, followers, and more. Everyone is invited to attend this free community event.
